Indonesian stocks dipped further on Tuesday as investors were cautious over the upcoming FOMC monetary decisions.
Jakarta composite declined 59.614 points (-0.91%) to 6,493.275 with LQ45 retreated 1.16% to 933.55. There were 18.815 billion shares traded worth of Rp11.374 trillion, including transaction of Rp187 billion in negotiation market. Foreign investors sold a net Rp98.31 billion in regular market. 163 shares rose while 368 declined and 143 unchanged.
On earnings, MAIN booked net loss of Rp109.9 billion in September, reversed from a net profit of Rp39.7 billion in 2Q21. Meanwhile, MIKA’s net profit grew 77.13% in the third quarter to Rp1.01 trillion, from Rp570.13 billion in September 2020.
TOWR acquired 252 telecommunication towers from affiliates with a total value of Rp 277 billion in order to consolidate telecommunication towers under its subsidiary, PT Professional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo).
Indonesian government raised Rp4 trillion in State Islamic Bond auction today. Total incoming bids were Rp48.70 trillion.
According to JISDOR released Tuesday afternoon, Rupiah retreated 26 (-0.18%) at 14,261 while spot rate slipped 5 points (-0.04%) to 14,250.

The Reserve Bank of Australia on Tuesday announced its decision to keep its cash rate target unchanged but decided to stop its target of 10 basis points for the April 2024 Australian Government Bond.
The Federal Reserve’s highly-anticipated meeting kicks off on Tuesday. It is widely expected to lead to the central bank announcing it will begin to wind down its $120 billion in monthly bond purchases and end the program entirely by the middle of 2022.
Oil prices were mixed with Brent climbed 19 cents (+0.22%) at $84.90 per barrel and U.S WTI slipped 4 cents (-0.05%) at $84.01 a barrel.
